It really is.

It's weird how the one person you absolutely despise
is the one person you can't escape.
So, you just give in.
Even though it pains you to do so.

And it's weird how the two people you need
more than anyone
suddenly just...stop.
They stop being there.

And then, one of them returns.
And you feel stupid for thinking
that either of them could have forgotten you
in the first place.

Until the other one vanishes almost completely.
And still hasn't returned.
And you have a good idea why.

And it's so damn weird
how you can't seem to figure out
why you're doing what you're doing.

But you keep doing it.

It's weird how you'll show up to school
with a frown on your face
and all the wrong people will notice.
And all the right people just ignore it.

God, it's just so weird
how you're afraid to say something.
Because you don't want to seem clingy.
You don't want to be an annoyance.
You don't want to drive them away.

But you feel like they're already halfway gone,
and you don't know what to do to stop it.


Weird, isn't it?
